Decoction:
Shatavari powder is most effective when prepared as a quick decoction and consumed regularly.
- Instructions:
- Use about 1 teaspoon of Shatavari powder for 1L of water.
- Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
- For a creamy and delicious drink, add vegetal milk. Stir well, or use a milk foamer for best result.
- Enhance the decoction by using it in synergy with other adaptogenic herbs in powder form such as Mucuna Pruriens, Chaga, Ashwagandha, Maca, and more.
- You do not need to strain the liquid. If the drink is too thick, you may let the remaining powder sink to the bottom of your cup.
- Drink 1 to 2 cups daily, ideally in the morning or as part of your daily routine.
Shatavari is best used on a regular basis, such as during a 21-day cycle, with periodic breaks to allow your body to integrate the benefits.
