Recipe:
If the taste is too strong, simply use less Damiana. When dosed properly, Damiana is very pleasant to drink 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of dried Damiana leaves
- 1 cup of water
Instructions:
- Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.
- Add 1 teaspoon of dried Damiana leaves to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the leaves and pour the infusion into a cup.
- Enjoy your Damiana tea hot, or let it cool for a refreshing iced tea.

Alternative Consumption:
Damiana can also be used as a smoking base to replace tobacco. The leaves can be dried and smoked alone or mixed with other herbs for a smoother experience.

Resin Extract:
- Use about a chickpea size of resin diluted in hot water.
- Use about a rice grain size of resin directly under your tongue.
Powder Extract:
- Use a quarter of a teaspoon diluted in hot water.

- You have diabetes or are on medication to regulate blood sugar, as Damiana can lower blood sugar levels.

- You are taking medications for anxiety or depression, as interactions may occur.
- You have a history of seizures, as high doses of Damiana can induce convulsions.
- You are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae family (such as chamomile or ragweed).

We import Damiana from Mexico, where it is wild harvested on our request, in Puebla region.
Of course, our Damiana is therefore fully organic, though we do not have certification from the European Union.
