Cacao was considered a gift from the gods by the Mayans, who consumed it for its therapeutic and divinatory virtues, particularly during religious ceremonies.

Cacao is a Master Plant Teacher for sensitivity, sensuality, and joy. It powerfully opens the heart and guides us toward discovering intimacy with ourselves and others.

As a potent source of euphoria, inner warmth, courage, and confidence, Ceremonial-Grade Cacao can transport us to our depths.

In groups, cacao serves as a key to communion, harmony, and intimacy.

With over 200 beneficial components for health, cacao truly deserves its name as the “Food of the Gods.”

In its industrial form, even in organic stores, cacao is typically roasted and melted in high temperature and has lost much of its properties. As a result, we are mostly unaware of the beneficial and magical qualities of true cacao. We are honored to share this sacred plant in bringing it to you in its purest form.

Cacao is a treasure rich with a thousand secrets. Only raw cacao retains all its virtues. To preserve its benefits, it should not be exposed to high temperatures; therefore, it should only be added to a preparation when it is warm (below 40°C).

It is said that Mexican Tarragon (Yauthli) is one of the secret ingredients of the mysterious Xocoatl recipe from the Aztec. It offers an exceptional synergy with cacao, and an incredible taste!

You may as well discover other magical synergies with Cacao such as Blue Lotus, Pink Lotus, Maca, Rose Flowers…

Cacao Preparation: Crafting the Elixir

The preparation of cacao is a sacred ritual, often woven into a ceremonial practice.
This process involves intention, prayer, and creating a space for deep inner work.

Instructions:

  • Gather the Ingredients
Use 20 to 40 grams of ceremonial-grade cacao paste,
2 cups of spring or purified water,
1 tablespoon of raw honey or maple syrup (optional),
A pinch of cayenne pepper (for warmth),
A pinch of sea salt (for balance),
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or a pinch of vanilla bean powder,
A dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional, for depth).
  • Gather Synergetic Herbs:  Mexican Tarragon, Blue Lotus, Maca, Pink Lotus, Roses... You can find them all here at infuse.earth
  • Create the Space
Set up a quiet, sacred space where you feel connected to nature and yourself.
Cleanse the area with incense or sage, inviting positive energies and clarity.
  • Set Your Intention
Hold the cacao in your hands, close your eyes, and take deep breaths to ground yourself.
Set a clear intention for the ceremony, speaking it aloud or holding it in your heart.
  • Prepare the Elixir
Prepare a bain-marie in a pot. Add the cacao paste on a plate or bowl on top of it. Let it melt gently and stay warm, never too hot. Add honey (optional), spices, and salt.
Bring some water to a warm temperature (no more than 45°) or prepare an infusion with synergetic herbs (mexican tarragon, blue lotus, rose, pink lotus...). Filter and let the infusion cool down.
Bring the water/infusion together with the cacao.
  • Infuse with Love
As you stir, whisper blessings into the cacao,
Infusing it with your intentions and love.
  • Serve with Ceremony
Pour the cacao into a special cup,
Hold it with both hands, feeling its warmth,
Offer a prayer of gratitude to the spirit of cacao and those who brought it to you.

Prepare the cacao in a sacred space where you can burn a candle,
With objects of prayer and spiritual devotion.
Offer prayers to ancestors, spirits, or the divine,
Acknowledging your place and theirs in the Universe,
And to the cacao itself for healing and connection.
Drink the elixir slowly, with reverence and gratitude,
Allowing its warmth and energy to fill you."
