- 1L of water
- Vegetal milk (optional)

Instructions:
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of Celastrus seeds to 1L of water.
- Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 20-30 minutes, or until the liquid takes on a rich, aromatic flavor.
- For a creamier texture, mix in vegetal milk. A 1:1 ratio of milk to water works well.
- After simmering, let the seeds settle at the bottom of the pot or strain them out.
- The used seeds can be reused several times. For subsequent uses, extend the simmering time. When the liquid no longer darkens, compost the seeds and start fresh.
