Method of Preparation:

  • Decoction: Place the cat’s claw bark in a pot and cover with 4 cups of cold water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20-30 minutes. Strain the mixture and enjoy warm. For best results, consume 1 to 2 cups daily. Do not throw away the cat's claw bark, re-use up to 4 times or until the bark does not produce any taste in decoction.
  • Tincture: Take a few drops of Cat's Claw tincture in the evening, adding it to a glass of water or juice.
  • Timing: Best consumed in the morning or evening as part of your daily routine.

To make your own tincture:

  • Ingredients: 1 part Cat's Claw bark, 2 parts high-proof alcohol (30% to 50% alcohol).
  • Instructions:
    • Place Cat's claw bark in a clean glass jar.
    • Pour the alcohol over, ensuring it is completely covered.
    • Seal the jar tightly and shake well.
    • Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, shaking it every few days. Store it for up to 2 Moon cycles to enhance potency.
    • After 2 weeks (or more), strain the mixture through a fine mesh or cheesecloth into a clean bottle.
